Supervisor’s Office
2026 STATE OF THE TOWN
-Supervisor Michael Whitton
Hello Town of Clinton,
When I meet residents, I am invariably asked how the Town is doing. Admittedly, I do not know if these residents want a simple answer or a more complex answer that goes into detail. Some people want something in between those two, and everyone is different. For this reason, I have compiled a State of the Town.
In 2026, the Town of Clinton is financially stable and working to address infrastructure improvements while supporting local businesses. This report details the efforts being made to maintain our fiscal responsibility and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
This document contains statistics about our shared community, including population, age, education, and other relevant details. Then the 2026 State of the Town goes into budgeting details. These include where your tax dollars are going and how the Town budgeted that money in 2026. This report finishes up with accomplishments in 2025 and goals for 2026.
I would love it if everyone read the entire 2026 State of the Town, but you are free to jump to the section that interests you. Read the full 2026 State of the Town document at the link below.
The document is also available in hard copy in the Town Hall. As always, you can email me with any questions or comments you have at townsupervisor@clintondcny.gov.
