UPCOMING EVENTS:
The Recreation Department is putting together a play structure and benches at Friends Park. The Highway Dept. will be leveling the area for the build, and we will be cementing in the support posts before the day(s) of the build, so we are looking for volunteers to help put together the pieces of the structure. Please bring any tools you have (drills, wrenches, etc.) to the build.
Date: Saturday, April 25 & Sunday, April 26 (Rain date: May 2 & 3)
Time: 9:00 AM start

FRAN MARK PARK
* CLOSED for 2025. Thanks for a great season! We will reopen the park in mid April.
- PARK CLOSES AT DUSK!
- Park gate will be locked for the season in November 2025, dog walkers may park at the small lot along the road.

HIKING CLUB: We are starting back up this month!
Date: April 18, 2026
Location: Wilcox Park, Orange Loop
Start time: 9:00 AM
Distance: 2.4 miles
Difficulty Level: Easy
Elevation gain: 433 feet
Estimated Time to complete: 1-2 hours
Notes: Dogs welcome but must be on a leash

(1) Friends Park: 2350 Salt Point Turnpike, Clinton Corners, NY 12514
- Home of Taconic Little League!
- Facilities available include: Little league baseball field, restrooms, playground, basketball court.
- TENNIS / PICKLEBALL COURTS – closed for the winter – will reopen in April
- Seasonal Ice-Skating Rink –> RINK IS CLOSED!!

(2) Frances J. Mark Memorial Park: 337 Clinton Hollow Road, Salt Point, NY 12578
- GATES ARE CLOSED FOR THE WINTER! –> will reopen in mid April
- Home of Clinton Summer Camp & Clinton Summer Basketball League
- Facilities available include: Pond for swimming, Pavilion with kitchen (available for rental), restrooms, playground, regulation basketball court, sand volleyball court, barbeque grills, picnic tables, soccer field, large open areas
- Lifeguards are on duty in the summer daily from 11AM – 6 PM. NO ONE MAY ENTER THE POND WHEN LIFEGUARDS ARE NOT ON DUTY!! Swimming ends September 1st
- Residents must purchase a seasonal park pass ($20.00) (available at Clinton Town Hall or at the gate guard shack at the park) to use the facilities
- Non-residents may purchase a day pass ($20.00) (at the gate guard shack) for single day use.
- Basketball Players (who do not have a residential park pass) must purchase an Annual Player Pass ($30.00) to use the courts
- The Snack Shack is open during Summer Camp and Saturday Basketball League
- Dog walking is welcome before 11AM and after 6PM. Please clean up after your pets! Dog clean up station is available.
